Ukraine and Russia have good potential for the development of joint projects in rocket-space industry, President Viktor Yanukovych has said today in Yenakiyeve, adding that the issue of joint development of our countries’ rocket-space systems had been discussed during his meeting with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, according to Press office of President Viktor Yanukovych.
"We see that our joint programs only strengthen us, and we see that working together creates very good conditions for the introduction of aerospace technologies in virtually all industries," he said.
Viktor Yanukovych noted that Ukraine is one of the five states with complete cycle of space technologies. Therefore, it requires us not to stop, but look for new ways to develop aerospace industry.
"We have lots of joint work with Russia, Bulgaria and other countries,” he said. "We have a great future of developing such programs as" Sich-2 ","Dnipro" and others we are working on today,” the President said, adding that large number of programs are implemented with the participation of foreign partners.
