Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev visited Chernobyl on Tuesday on the 25th anniversary of the nuclear power plant accident there, according to Xinhua.
The presidents paid tribute to the Chernobyl accident workers during the ringing of funeral bells.
Medvedev and Yanukovych took ashes from the monument foundation stone during a symbolic ceremony in the city park of Chernobyl to mark the 25th anniversary of the world`s largest nuclear disaster.
