Ex-chief of the Crimean Interior Ministry’s Directorate general lieutenant Volodymyr Khomenko was appointed as the Permanent Representative of the Ukrainian President to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

      According to the ARC Council of Ministers’ press-service, today V.Khomenko will be introduce to the leadership of the autonomy.

      He will be introduced by deputy President’s Chief of Staff Victor Bondar.

Autonomy’s leadership, Crimean Verkhovna Rada Speaker Anatoliy Hrytsenko, and Crimean Council of Ministers head Victor Plakida will attend the ceremony.

      As UNIAN reported earlier, V.Khomenko sent in his resignation from law-enforcement agencies in February of the current year. He explained that he could not reach understanding with new Interior Minister Vassyl Tsushko.
