In this regard the President noted the effective work of the Joint Ukrainian-Azerbaijani Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation and all its subcommittees.
The President said an evidence of its productive work last year has been the growth of trade turnover between Ukraine and Azerbaijan.

He also praised the fact that today Ukraine has become Azerbaijan’s second trade partner after Russia.
For his part, the President of Azerbaijan expressed his belief that the current visit of his Ukrainian counterpart will be successful.
