President Viktor Yanukovych believes that Ukraine will complete 2011 with a deficit-free budget, he said today in Mykolayiv, according to the Press office of President Viktor Yanukovych.
"We had foreseen this year`s budget deficit of 3.5%. Today, we already see from the dynamics that it is reducing, and we will approach the deficit-free budget by the year-end. This will be ensured one hundred percent," Viktor Yanukovych said.
The President reminded that in 2010 the budget deficit was reduced from 15% to 5%.
He drew particular attention to the reduction of the Pension Fund deficits. According to Viktor Yanukovych, it is very important, because it actually means the rise in wages and deposits of citizens. "We are reducing the Pension Fund deficit up to 12% monthly," the President of Ukraine said.
