The last but one round of the Ukrainian Premier League was marked by desperate battles of outsiders and ordinary wins of the teams, who fight for the bronze, according to FFU inform-service.
Dynamo Kyiv scored most of all goals in this round when it beat Volyn 5:1. In the first half of the game Artem Milevskiy and Artem Kravets made doubles. It is interesting that the first one scored his first goals in the spring part of the championship after Yuriy Syomin came to the team. Oleksandr Aliyev scored the fifth goal for Dynamo and the fist one for himself after returning to the team. Volyn players managed to put one back with the help of an own goal of Dynamo goalkeeper Maksym Koval.
The third team of the championship Metalist had no difficulties with Illichivets at home − 3:0. In both halves of the match Denys Oliynyk was the one to score, and Ukraine national team forward Marko Devic made the score 3:0. It was not so easy for a major rival of Metalist in competition for bronze medals Dnipro, who managed to score only once. But the goal of Sergiy Nazarenko on the sixth minute was enough to get a win. Now the team of Juande Ramos is one point above Metalist and everything will be decided in the last round.
After a defeat in Kharkiv Illichivets stayed in relegation zone. They are now the second team from the bottom with 26 points. Their opponents Kryvbas (29 points) and Sevasopol (27) also lost their Sunday matches. The first one was beaten by Zoria (0:2) and the second one lost points in a match against Metalurh Zaporizhia.
In the only Saturday match Shakhtar, which secured title a week ago, played a draw in Poltava with Vorskla − 1:1. The footballers of Mykola Pavlov are now on the sixth position − the last one, which gives an opportunity to compete in UEFA Europa League qualification. The score was opened by Vitaliy Vitsenets on the 17th minute. Hosts answered before the break, when Ahmed Yanuzi headed.
