Foreign Minister of Greece Dimitris Droutsas will pay an official visit to Ukraine on May 30-31.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, head of the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Oleksandr Dikusarov said this at the press conference.
The aim of the visit is an activization of the Ukrainian- Greek cooperation in political, economic and cultural-humanitarian areas. It is also planned to discuss issues concerning preparation of the visit of President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych to Greece on October 6-8, 2011 and the visit of Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament Philippos Petsalnikos to Ukraine, and also carrying out of the session of the 5th Ukrainian-Greek intergovernmental joint working group on economic, industrial and scientific and technical cooperation.
It is also planned to sign an agreement on cooperation between state archives service of Ukraine and general state archives of the Hellenic Republic. The meetings of Greek Foreign Minister with leadership of Ukraine are also planned.
