Yanukovych conducts phone talks with President of Poland

President Viktor Yanukovych has held a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski, according to the Press office of President Viktor Yanukovych.

The sides have discussed future East Central Europe Summit, to be held on May 27-28 this year in Poland.

 Viktor Yanukovych and Bronislaw Komorowski have also discussed bilateral relations between Ukraine and Poland. The Heads of State praised the development of the dialogue initiated in February 2011 during Viktor Yanukovych’s first visit to Poland as President of Ukraine. The parties agreed to continue negotiations during the Summit of Central and Eastern Europe.

Bronislaw Komorowski said that Poland looks forward to fruitful cooperation with Ukraine.

 The Presidents also discussed the development of relations between Ukraine and the European Union during the presidency of Poland in the EU.

  The conversation was initiated by the Ukrainian side.
