Yanukovych plans to visit Greece in October

President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych has met with Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic Dimitris Droutsas, according to the Press office of President Viktor Yanukovych. Among the discussed subjects was a visit of the Ukrainian President to Greece scheduled for October this year.

"We are interested in further cooperation and are confident that we have great potential," Viktor Yanukovych said. He expressed hope that the Ukrainian-Greek dialogue will continue during his visit to Greece in October 2011.

"I plan the visit for this year," he said.

For his part, Greece’s Foreign Minister conveyed greetings from the President of Greece to the President of Ukraine. "He looks forward to meeting you in October in Athens," he said.
