Batkivshchyna Party leader...

Batkivshchyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko believes that President Viktor Yanukovych’s criticism of Mykola Azarov’s cabinet expressed during today’s government meeting is an example of how he is trying to shift blame for failed social and economic policies, according to Official website of Yulia Tymoshenko.

"At today’s government meeting, Yanukovych tried to shift responsibility, as the leader of the Party of Regions, to Azarov, who they plan to dismiss soon. The president wants to shift the blame for failed policies on another Party of Regions leader, and by doing so is trying to distance himself from the failures of their policies," Yulia Tymoshenko said at a briefing today in the Verkhovna Rada.

In her opinion, the ruling party is staging such shows in order to distract public attention from important problems. "We believe today’s government meeting and Yanukovych’s criticism of Azarov is theater, with which they want to mislead society and transfer responsibility, which they bear together, and above all, the president," she said.

"Yanukovych believes Azarov is responsible for the mess in the country. The king is honest and good, but his slaves are stupid and incompetent. Soon all those like Azarov will be gone. With the powers he’s given himself, Yanukovych isn’t just responsible for the situation in the country, but for every burnt out light bulb in every building entrance," Yulia Tymoshenko posted on Twitter.
