Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn started his three-day official visit to Switzerland.
The press service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine disclosed this to UNIAN.
In accordance with the program of the visit it is planned that V. Lytvyn will meet with President of Switzerland Micheline Anne-Marie Calmy-Rey, President of the National Council of Switzerland Jean-René Germanier, President of the Council of States Hansheiri Inderkum, and mayor of Bern Alexander Tschäppät.
V.Lytvyn will meet the leaders of the Ukrainian Society in Switzerland, and business and public élite of Switzerland.
The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will also visit the factory of the dairy producer Emmi and the Einsiedeln Abbey.
The parliamentary delegation includes 5 lawmakers of Ukraine.
