Tymoshenko says that today’s court hearing against her is farce

Batkivshchyna party leader, ex Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko says that today’s court hearing against her is a farce.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, she said this to journalists before an entrance to Pechersk District Court of Kyiv that started considering the criminal case on accusation Yu. Tymoshenko of illegal signing of the gas contracts with Russia in 2009.

“A real farce, mock trial, which is ordered, organized and provided by Victor Yanukovych, starts today”, said Yu. Tymoshenko.

Yu. Tymoshenko thanked all people who came to support her.

Her husband Oleksandr Tymoshenko, daughter Yevgenia and son-in-law Sean Carr also came to the court to support her.
