Official meeting ceremony of Presidents of Ukraine and Cyprus took place in Kyiv

An official meeting ceremony of President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych and President of Cyprus Demetris Christofias, who is on official visit in Ukraine, took place in Kyiv.

According to the press service of the head of the state, the military orchestra performed national anthems of Ukraine and Cyprus. The heads of the states reviewed the Guard of honour. Then official delegations of two countries were introduced to each other.

After “tête-a-tête” meeting of V. Yanukovych and D. Christofias the Ukrainian- Cypriot negotiations in a broadened staff under chairmanship of the Presidents will take place.

After the negotiations it is planned to sign bilateral documents.
