Judge Kireyev refuses to stand down

Judge Rodion Kireyev has again denied Yulia Tymoshenko’s request to recuse himself from her trial, according to the Official website of Yulia Tymoshenko.

"The defendant’s statement contains no confirmed facts indicating the judge’s bias. There is no evidence to disqualify the presiding judge in this trial. The motion to disqualify the judge is denied. The decision is not subject to appeal," he said.
