Lytvyn’s visit to Armenia starts

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn starts his two-day official visit to Armenia.

The press service of the VR disclosed to UNIAN that on July 11-12 he plans to meet with Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia A. Abrahamyan in “1+2” format, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan and Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians His Holiness Garekin II.

During the visit the negotiations of the official delegations of Ukraine and Armenia under chairmanship of the heads of the parliaments will take place and it is also planned to sign bilateral documents.

The Ukrainian delegation will visit the Armenian Genocide Museum-institute named after St. Mesropa Mashotsa in Matenadaran and Yerevan Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka Factory.

V. Lytvyn will deliver a speech before members of the Academy of Science of Armenia and answer questions of journalists.
