Ukraine considers Georgia as an important partner and will not recognize independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, chairman of the Information Policy Department of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Oleh Voloshyn said this at the press conference today.

O. Voloshyn noted that Foreign Minister of Ukraine Konstyantyn Hryshchenko will pay an official visit to Georgia on July 14-15. Within a framework of the visit it is planned to hold negotiations with Georgian leadership for stirring up of the political relations. O. Voloshyn added that after the negotiations it is planned to sign a Plan of consultations between Foreign Ministry of Ukraine and Georgia for 2011-2014.
