Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Konstyantyn Hryshchenko has informed President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych on the progress of Ukraine`s negotiations with the European Union, according to the Press office of President Viktor Yanukovych.
"We have made a serious progress in negotiations on both the FTA, and on the Association Agreement in general. There is a series of measures to eventually give new impetus to these negotiations in the second half of this year," Konstyantyn Hryshchenko said after the meeting with President Yanukovych in Crimea.
The Minister has also briefed the President of Ukraine on the preparations for the fifth session of the Ukrainian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission. "I have reported on the preparation for holding this event in Ukraine," Minister Hryshchenko said.
