Yulia Tymoshenko has three new defenders

The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv has ruled to admit Mykola Siryi, Oleksandr Tymoshenko and Eugenia Carr as defenders in the criminal case against Yulia Tymoshenko, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

"Close relatives of the defendant may be admitted as defense counsel. I therefore ask that you admit my husband Oleksandr Tymoshenko and daughter Eugenia Carr as my defense counsel," Yulia Tymoshenko said.

She also added that Mykola Siryi is the person most prepared to provide legal assistance in the trial.
