Appeals Court on Friday to consider Yulia Tymoshenko’s appeal of her arrest

This Friday, August 12, at 9:30 am the Kyiv Court of Appeals will consider former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko’s appeal of the ruling by the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv to change the restrictive measure against her from a travel ban to arrest, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

Yulia Tymoshenko is demanding that she be released from custody immediately.

On Friday, August 5, Judge Rodion Kireyev of the Pechersk District Court ordered Yulia Tymoshenko to be arrested for contempt of court.
