The opening of the 9th session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the solemn meeting on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine will take place tomorrow.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn said this during the Conciliatory Council today.
The State Flag of Ukraine will be brought into the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine at the beginning of the solemn meeting. This flag was brought into the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on August 24, 1991.
According to the words of V. Lytvyn, it is also planned that President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych and one of the lawmakers, who was a participant of declaration of the Act of Declaration of Independence of Ukraine, will deliver a speech.
The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada said he will also deliver a speech and after that the solemn meeting will be closed.
V. Lytvyn added that then the ordinary plenary meeting of the parliament will take place.
