About 200 employees of Berkut special subdivision blocked the entrances to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, they try to prevent Afghan war veterans, who burst through barrier near VRU, from entering to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Now some hundreds of participants of the rally are standing near the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and chanting “Shame”. They are holding flags of “No one, except us” public organization and state flags of Ukraine.
There have been no scuffles among participants of the rally and Berkut special subdivision yet, but Afghan war veterans continue standing near the parliament.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the protest action against adoption of the law on fulfillment of decisions of courts that cancel benefits for considerable citizens of Ukraine, including Afghan war veterans, has been taking place near the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine since morning.
