Yanukovych honours memory of victims of Babiy Yar

President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych honoured memory of the victims of Babiy Yar in Kyiv.

According to the press service of the head of the state, V. Yanukovych laid flowers at the monument in “Babiy Yar” National Historical-Memorial Reserve in Kyiv.

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov and Deputy Prime Minister of Israel Avigdor Lieberman also took part in the wreath-laying ceremony.

The participants of the ceremony honoured memory of the victims of Babiy Yar by minute of silence.
