President of Hungary Pal Schmitt is on a visit in Zakarpattya.
The press center of Zakarpattya Oblast State Administration disclosed this to an UNIAN correspondent today.
It is said in the report that the President of Hungary arrived in Zakarpattya on two-day familiarization visit on Sunday, October 2.
According to information of the press center of Zakarpattya Oblast State Administration, the President of Hungary arrived in Zakarpattya for the first time.
During the meeting with chairman of Zakarpattya Oblast State Administration Oleksandr Ledida the President of Hungary noted that a visit to Zakarpattya is very symbolic for him because it is the region where the largest community of Hungarians in Ukraine lives.
The President of Hungary noted that Hungary supports European integration of Ukraine and makes every effort to liberalize the visa issue.
