Near one and a half thousand of agrarians picketed the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine today.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, participants of the action held placards with inscriptions: “No to elimination of rural areas!”, “Budget to peasants, not to oligarchs!” and others.
Participants of the protest action held big pitchfork and scythes. According to the words of the participants, now they have to use these tools because of insufficient funding in agriculture.
In particular, participants of the action demands to abolish duties on export of grain crops and “to stop experiment on agriculture”.
They met Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov with exclamations “Shame!” and “Azarov to resign!”.
Participants of the protest action now go to the premises of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
