The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine works on organization of a visit of President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych to Brussels for reaching arrangements concerning key political problems of agreement on association between Ukraine and the EU.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Director of Politics and Security Department of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Vasyl Philipchuk said this during a round table on a topic: “Ukraine – the EU: what next?” organized by Gorshenin Institute . (UNIAN: On September 30, in Warsaw President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych, head of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso and President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy agreed to meet in Brussels in October).
“A work on an expert level is finished, now work proceeds on a political level, we work on organization of the visit of the President of Ukraine to Brussels where he will meet with the leadership of the EU and where an arrangement concerning key political problems that exist now concerning our agreement should be reached”, he said.
