Oleksandr Turchynov, first deputy head of the Batkivshchyna Party, has said that Yulia Tymoshenko has agreed the final version of her conviction appeal and plans to submit it to the court through the prison administration, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.
"Yulia Tymoshenko personally read and finalized the appeal, and she was to personally sign the appeal and submit it through the prison administration. The only way to submit it to the court is via the prison administration. And I assume she’s already done this," Oleksandr Turchynov said today at a briefing in Kyiv.
According to him, Yulia Tymoshenko’s lawyers will also appeal the Pechersk court’s verdict. "In order to make sure the complaint doesn’t get lost – you have to understand how this government operates – there will be two, another appeal will be submitted to the court by the lawyers," he said.
Wednesday, October 26, is the deadline for filing an appeal.
