Adherents of Tymoshenko picket pre-trial prison and demand to release her

About 100 adherents of head of Batkivshchyna party, ex Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko are picketing Kyiv pre-trial prison and demand to release her.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, people mainly of pension age are holding national flags and flags of the Batkivshchyna political party; they are chanting “Freedom to Yulia”, “Yulia – our President” and others.

Some lawmakers of opposition, in particular Yuriy Odarchenko, Natalia Korolevskaya, Roman Zabzalyuk, Mykola Tomenko, Andriy Shkil and Ivan Kyrylenko take part in the rally.
