President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych will hold a meeting with President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė during her working visit to Ukraine today.
According to the press service of the President of Ukraine, in accordance of the words of Chief of Staff of the Administration of President of Ukraine Serhiy Lyovochkin, the 5th sitting of the Council of Presidents of Ukraine and Lithuania will take place within a framework of the visit.
During the negotiations at the highest level much attention will be dedicated to an issue concerning the European integration of Ukraine, in particular, an Agreement on association of Ukraine-EU.
S. Lyovochkin noted that an agenda also includes an issue concerning activization of trade-economic interaction, cooperation in transport, agriculture, energy, cultural-humanitarian areas between Ukraine and Lithuania.
According to his words, it is planned to sign a range of the bilateral documents. Among them there are the following documents – a Memorandum on mutual understanding in transport area and a Program on cooperation in science and technology areas for 2011-2015.
It is also planned to carry out the Ukrainian – Lithuanian business forum.
