French Ambassador for Human Rights was not permitted to meet with Tymoshenko

French Ambassador for Human Rights François Zimeray was not permitted to meet with imprisoned ex Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko in Kachanivska prison colony №54 in Kharkiv.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, François Zimeray said this to journalists who gathered near Kachanivska prison colony.

“We submitted a corresponding application, but  our request was  turned down”, said the Ambassador.

He noted that a reason of the refusal was carrying out of investigatory actions towards Yu. Tymoshenko by SBU investigators.
