Teixeira: expectations concerning democratization of Ukraine did not come true

Chairman of the Mission of the European Union to Ukraine Jose Manuel Pinto Teixeira states that expectations of Europe concerning democratization of Ukraine did not come true.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, J. Teixeira said this during the Euro Atlantic Forum “Ukraine and the EU on the threshold of an agreement on association: free trade, energy security and democracy”. 

According to his words, in 2011 the Ukrainian power did not fulfill its obligations concerning implementation of reforms.

He also noted that partnership of Ukraine and the EU should concentrate on real results.
