Lawmakers from the BYUT-Batkivshchyna faction demand from  Prosecutor General Victor Pshonka to give them information about actions of the Prosecutor General`s Office concerning fulfillment of the PACE resolution.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, lawmakers said this to journalists near the Prosecutor General`s Office in Kyiv.

In particular, lawmaker Volodymyr Arjev reminded that, in accordance with the law lawmakers have a right for an immediate appointment by any official of Ukraine. According to his words, BYUT lawmakers decided to use this right and sent a letter to the PGO yesterday with a request to have meeting in order to discuss a range of important issues, particularly, the actions of the PGO on  fulfillment of the PACE resolution.

BYUT-Batkivshchyna lawmaker Olena Bondarenko reminded that one of the items of the PACE resolution concerning Ukraine is a demand to release ex Interior Minister of Ukraine Yuri Lutsenko and former acting Defense Minister Valeriy Ivashchenko. She noted that lawmakers demands from the PGO to answer what the prosecutor’s office has already done on fulfillment of the PACE resolution.
