Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Sergey Naryshkin will pay a working visit to Ukraine on February 19-20.
The press service of the Ukrainian parliament disclosed to UNIAN that a meeting of Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn with the Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation will take place on Monday.
According to the Public Relations and Mass Media Relations Department of the State Duma, during the meeting they will discuss the issues concerning forming of the Interparliamentary Commission and its agenda for 2012.
It is also planned to discuss urgent issues of the Russian-Ukrainian cooperation in economic, humanitarian and cultural area.
The program of the visit also includes the meetings with President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov, Secretary of the National and Security Defense Council Andriy Klyuev.
S. Naryshkin will deliver a speech in the Diplomatic academy of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine on February 20.
