Lytvyn says he is not stupid to buy “Mercedes” before elections

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn says that accusations towards him are connected with a start of electoral campaign.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this at the news conference answering a question whether information about purchase of “Mercedes” car 2011 for the VRU is true.

V. Lytvyn underlined that this information is not true. According to his it is possible to check this fact addressing to the VRU and asking what cars have been purchased by the parliament for the recent years.
