It is officially announced in VRU that nobody is elected at post of ombudsman

It is officially announced in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine that nobody has been elected for the post of Ombudsman of the Verkhovna Rada on human rights.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, chairman of the Commission of Accounts of the Verkhovna Rada Mykola Shershun  said that 392 lawmakers did not receive ballot papers, and 391 lawmakers voted. At the same time 27 ballot papers have been recognized invalid, 18 lawmakers did not support any candidacy.
