Yanukovych said that he discussed nuclear security issues with Obama

President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych and President of the United State of America Barack Obama discussed issues concerning nuclear security, including an initiative of the Ukrainian side to create a research center on the basis of Chernobyl NPP.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, the head of the Ukrainian state said this to journalists in Seoul on Tuesday.

V. Yanukovych said this during the meeting with B. Obama they spoke about what Ukraine has already done in a context of fulfillment of obligations concerning refusal from highly enriched uranium and about perspectives of relations of two countries in nuclear security issues.
