Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych met with Vice President of the OSCE PA, head of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly observation mission for elections in Ukraine Tone Tingsgard, according to the government’s press-office.

      During the meeting the Head of Government Viktor Yanukovych stressed that Ukraine is interested in unbiased estimations of the international observers for elections.

      “We are very interested in your mission be efficient. We are interested in civilized development of the political struggle and in unprejudiced estimations of the current political process,” Viktor Yanukovych said.

      The PM said that Ukraine had sent invitations to practically all European democratic institutions to participate in election observations. “We have sent invitations to participate in election observations to the PACE, Europarliament, BSECO, NATO.

September 31 has already registered 212 official observers,” Viktor Yanukovych added.

      The Prime Minister noted that Government is ready to cooperate with all international observers and promote implementation of their missions.
