Batkivshchyna’s convention starts: Tymoshenko is elected into staff of presidium

The 11th convention of the Batkivshchyna All-Ukrainian Union started its work in Kyiv.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, during the convention they will consider an issue concerning political situation in the country and tasks of the party at a current stage.

The delegates of the convention are about to adopt new edition of the program of the party and introduce amendments into the charter of the party.

143 delegates came to the convention.

First deputy head of the party Oleksandr Turchynov noted that this convention is “ordinary working convention”.

Head of the Batkivshchyna party is elected into the staff of the presidium of the convention.
