Lutsenko is not angry with jailers and waits for decision of European court
Former Interior Minister of Ukraine Yuri Lutsenko wants to be examined by an independent physician whom he will choose for confirmation of diagnoses of the pre-trial prison.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Marietta de Pourbaix-Lundin, the PACE co-rapporteur on Ukraine said this at the news conference.
She noted that PACE co-rapporteurs spoke to Y. Lutsenko during an hour.
According to her words, co-rapporteurs had an impression that Y. Lutsenko was in good spirits and spoke mainly about different political aspects of the situation in Ukraine.
At the same time, according to the words of Marietta de Pourbaix-Lundin, he worries about state of his health. She also noted such a positive fact that two days ago Y. Lutsenko was moved to other cell with better conditions. And he jokingly called it “a hotel room”.
At the same time the co-rapporteur said that the representatives of the administration of the pre-trial prison could not answer the question whether Y. Lutsenko remains in this cell.
Marietta de Pourbaix-Lundin also noted that Y. Lutsenko did not make complaints against actions of the administration of the pre-trial prison.
According to her words, now former Interior Minister is looking forward for session of the European Court on Human Rights that is to take place on April 17 concerning consideration of his appeal.
