BYUT initiates investigation of mass murders in Donetsk Oblast

The BYUT-Batkivshchyna faction offers to create an Interim Investigatory Commission in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

This IIC would deal with a range of murders in 1990ies in the cities of the Donetsk Oblast, in particular the murder of lawmaker Yevgen Shcherban and death of lawmaker from the Party of Regions Yevgeniy Kushnaryov in the Kharkiv Oblast.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, leader of the BYUT-Batkivshchyna faction Andriy Kozhemyakin said this during the Conciliatory Council.
