Prime Minister of Ukraine, Party of Regions leader Victor Yanukovych would like to continue his work on the post of the Head of Government after the parliamentary election of September 30.

      According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this to a news conference in Kyiv today.

      “I have a strong desire to work as a Prime Minister for no less than 5 years in order to fulfill plans, concerning mostly reforming our state, and I would not like the state and me personally to lose such an opportunity”, said V. Yanukovych.

      The Prime Minister underlined that the structure of the next government will depend on what parties will enter the structure of the parliamentary coalition.

      “It is very important that the government be a team of professionals and that it can work for no less than 5 years before we will have positive results, I am sure”, explained he.

      V. Yanukovych added that the stability in the state and the stability in the work of the government is a guarantee of solving existing problems in the state.
