Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn early closed the morning plenary sitting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine at 13.45 pm.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he made this decision because lawmakers from the BYUT-Batkivshchyna blocked rostrum and presidium of the parliament.

Opposition representatives addressed V. Lytvyn several times with a statement that they will not let parliament work in a normal regime until their demands will be satisfied.

Some lawmakers started pushing the chair where Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada was sitting.

After closing of morning plenary sitting opposition representatives underset an entrance door by chairs and keep up staying near the rostrum and in the presidium.

As of now it is unknown whether evening plenary sitting opens.
