German President cancels visit to Ukraine because of situation concerning Tymoshenko – mass media

President of Germany Joachim Gauck cancelled visit to Ukraine.

Reuters agency with reference to its source reports this.

According to the words of interlocutor of agency, this decision was made by agreement with Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and probably this decision is connected with the situation around ex Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko.

The web site of “Deutsche Welle”, quoting Reuters, noted that the Embassy of Ukraine in Germany said J. Gauck will not accept an invitation to a meeting of Presidents of countries of the Central Europe that will take place in Yalta.
