A range of the measures will take place on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic war on May 9 in Ukraine.

The press service of the head of the state disclosed to UNIAN that official celebrations will begin at 10.00 am, at Maydan Nezhalezhnosti in Kyiv.
President of Ukraine will deliver a speech before invitees; overwhelming majority of invitees will be veterans of the war and labour. Thereupon “front pages of family album” concert program will be presented; Guard of Honour of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Honoured academic song and dance group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and famous Ukrainian artists will take part in this program. “Peaceful Ukraine” children vocal- choreographic performance has also been prepared specially for the holiday.
A festive marathon, where orchestras of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, creative teamwork of the Interior Ministry and popular artists will take part, will begin at 16.00 pm.
The festive marathon will finish with fireworks at 21.25 pm in Kyiv.
The corresponding theme events are scheduled in all regions of the country on May 9.
