Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko was transferred today from the Kachanivska prison to the Ukrzaliznytsia Central Clinical Hospital № 5 in Kharkiv, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

Yulia Tymoshenko’s daughter Eugenia said her mother agreed to undergo treatment at the Kharkiv hospital if an independent doctor from the Charité clinic in Berlin - Dr. Harms - was admitted to the treatment process.

"The only thing Yulia Tymoshenko has been saying since February 14 is that treatment can take place only under the supervision of an independent doctor, not one appointed by the authorities: either by German doctors, meaning Dr. Harms, or Ukrainian doctors that Yulia Tymoshenko trusts. Any interference by people Yulia Tymoshenko doesn’t trust, who aren’t authorized to make any medical decisions regarding her health, is unacceptable," lawyer Serhiy Vlasenko said.
