Yanukovych: We are building new state and realizing real economy development initiatives

Ukraine is consistently moving through deep modernization and national economy development, President Viktor Yanukovych said in a speech at today’s Victory Day festivities at the Independence Square in Kyiv, according to Press office of President Viktor Yanukovych.

"We have stepped on a difficult road of modernization of Ukraine. We are building a new state, where there is no place for corruption or officials’ arbitrariness," he said.

The President stressed that it also implies creating a new economic base to reduce poverty and stimulate innovation.

"We are putting the new social initiatives into practice, new initiatives to develop the real economy," Viktor Yanukovych said.
