Eugenia Tymoshenko: I’m confident my mother to be free soon
Yulia Tymoshenko’s daughter says she is confident her mother will soon be free after being illegally imprisoned, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko. "Mum, we’re not with you right now, but I have faith that you will soon be free and together with us," Eugenia Tymoshenko said while speaking today at the Forum of the United Opposition, where she read her mother’s letter to the meeting participants.
Eugenia Tymoshenko once again thanked the leaders of EU countries, politicians and international organizations for their support and solidarity.
Today the Forum of the United Opposition, which was held on St. Michael’s Square in Kyiv, adopted a resolution and joint campaign program for the elections to the Verkhovna Rada that will be held on October 28, 2012.
"The basis for our unity is the common belief in the national interests of Ukraine, rights and freedoms of every citizen, European democratic values and convictions, the fact that this regime can no longer rule the country. Our main goals are a just state, honest government, dignified life and European choice," said the resolution.
The united opposition established as its goal the removal of Yanukovych’s regime from power, the formation of a democratic majority in parliament and the return of Ukraine to a European course of development. "We will stop the political repressions - Yulia Tymoshenko, Yuriy Lutsenko and other political prisoners will be freed," the document states.
