As UNIAN reported earlier, consideration of the draft law on language policy was wrecked in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on May 24.
The scuffle of representatives of the Party of Regions faction with lawmakers from the BYUT-Batkivshchyna and the OU-PSD factions, who were against adoption of the law of “Party of Regions”, took place in the session hall in the evening yesterday.
When the scuffle finished, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn closed the plenary sitting and left the presidium of the parliament.
