European parliament welcomes negotiations on FTA with “Eastern partnership” countries and underlines necessity of reforms

The European Parliament`s International Trade Committee welcomes carrying out of negotiations concerning creation of the free trade area with “Eastern partnership”  member countries.

According to an own UNIAN correspondent in Brussels, it is said in the draft report concerning trade aspects of “Eastern partnership”; the draft report was approved today at the sitting of the Committee.

The Committee members welcomed the conclusion of negotiations on concluding a free trade agreement with Ukraine, but at the same time, expressed regret at the delay in signing the Association Agreement, which includes an agreement on free trade zone.
