Opposition adherents picket VRU in sign of protest of adoption of “language” draft law


Representatives of united opposition and their adherents are picketing the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in a sign of protest of adoption of the “language” draft law in the first reading yesterday.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, about 50 people stay at Hrushevskogo Street in front of the Verkhovna Rada now.

The participants of the rally are holding state flags and flags of United opposition “For Motherland!”.

Member of the BYUT-Batkivshchyna faction Yuri Odarchenko said to journalists that the picket will last from 9.00 am till 21.00 pm.

According to his words, an action will not be numerous today, and its participants will relieve one another every 3 hours.
