“The parliament of the sixth convocation will work for two years. Thus, the new Verkhovna Rada will be elected along with the president or immediately after the presidential elections”, - OU-PSD leader Yuri Lutsenko said this in his interview to “Hazeta po-ukrainsky” daily, according to Our Ukraine’s web-site.
According to him, the present parliament’s objective is a new Constitution, election laws and a tax code, as well as radical reforms of law-enforcement and judicial systems. “There already is a basis for all these reforms. The matter depends on political will now”, - he added.
Mr. Lutsenko also reminded that the decision of the party congress on liquidating parties and creating of the only democratic party was an admission ticket to the Bloc. “The leaders of the OU and PSD is sure to create it in October-November. The ones who will not do that will fall aside”, - Yuri Lutsenko accented.
